Trip.com Group's Q2 2026 net profit declined year-over-year, recording a net loss of RMB 2.4 billion due to penalty expenses.

In the second quarter of 2026, Trip.com Group achieved net operating revenue of RMB 15.7 billion, up 6% year on year; adjusted EBITDA was RMB 4.6 billion, down from RMB 4.9 billion in the same period last year. In this quarter, due to an antitrust penalty imposed by the State Administration for Market Regulation, the company recognized a one-time charge of approximately RMB 5.2 billion, and therefore recorded a net loss of RMB 2.4 billion; excluding the impact of the antitrust penalty, net profit was RMB 2.7 billion. By business segment, accommodation reservation revenue was RMB 6.6 billion, up 6% year on year; excluding the impact of penalty-related revenue offsets, it rose 8% year on year. Transportation ticketing revenue was RMB 5.4 billion, down 1% year on year; packaged tours revenue was RMB 1.2 billion, up 8% year on year; corporate travel management revenue was RMB 771 million, up 11% year on year.
