He Qiongmei, former Party Secretary and Director of the Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, was expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.

Investigation has revealed that He Qiongmei lost her ideals and convictions, betrayed her original aspiration and mission, was disloyal and dishonest toward the Party, and resisted organizational review; disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, illegally accepted gifts and cash gifts, illegally borrowed vehicles, accepted travel arrangements that could affect the impartial execution of official duties, and had expenses that should have been paid personally paid by others; violated organizational principles by failing to report personal matters as required; failed to maintain proper family conduct and neglected the management and education of family members; and turned the public power entrusted by the Party and the people into a tool for seeking personal gain, securing benefits for others in areas such as contracting engineering projects, and illegally accepting huge amounts of property.
