According to TrendForce, in the second quarter, the combined revenue of the world's top five NAND Flash brands increased by 77% quarter-on-quarter, reaching $68.87 billion.
According to TrendForce's latest research on the NAND Flash industry, the procurement efforts for AI servers will remain steady in the second quarter of 2026, particularly with strong demand for Enterprise SSDs. This has led to a supply shortage in the overall NAND Flash market, allowing manufacturers to significantly increase the average selling prices of their products through pricing mechanisms. As a result, the top five NAND Flash manufacturers that are currently on the market have collectively seen a 77% increase in revenue quarter-over-quarter, reaching $68.87 billion. Looking ahead to the revenue situation in the third quarter, despite weak momentum due to higher BOM costs raising the overall prices of smartphones and PCs, the demand for Enterprise SSDs from AI servers remains robust. Furthermore, manufacturers are generally prioritizing capital expenditures on DRAM/HBM, resulting in limited new NAND Flash production capacity. It is estimated that the ASP in the third quarter will continue to support overall industry growth.
