The three major A-share indices showed mixed results today. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.19%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 0.56%, and the ChiNext Index dropped by 0.93%. The Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index gained 2.67%, while the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index increased by 0.11%. The total market turnover reached 24,198 billion yuan, an increase of 17.3 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with over 3,200 stocks declining across the market. In terms of sectors, genetically modified organisms, agriculture and forestry, grain concepts, agricultural planting, and the pork sector saw the largest gains. In contrast, energy metals, film and television, gaming, securities, and computing power leasing experienced the largest declines. On the market, influenced by the incoming "El Nio phenomenon," the grain concept sector surged, with stocks such as Jinjian Rice Industry, Nongfa Seed Industry, Beijing Grain Holdings, Black Sesame, Qiule Seed Industry, and Shennong Seed Industry hitting the daily limit, while Kangnong Seed Industry, Dabainong, and Guotou Fengle also had notable gains. The pork sector was active, with Tianbang Foods and Luoniushan hitting the daily limit, and Dayu Biological, Aonong Biological, and New Hope showing substantial increases. The domestic operating system sector experienced a sharp rise in the afternoon, with stocks like Chengmai Technology, Qilin Xin'an, and China Software reaching their daily limits, while Runhe Software, Shensi Electronics, and Ruantong Power saw significant gains. The film and television sector opened low and continued to decline, with Beijing Culture approaching the daily limit and Zhongguang Tianze, Aofei Entertainment, and Bona Film Group showing notable losses. The energy metals sector performed poorly, with Yongshan Lithium Industry, Rongjie Shares, and Bosheng New Materials showing significant declines.
