Luo Qianyi, Chairman of Dongfang Electric Corporation, has been elected President of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.

According to the official website of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, on August 14, 2026, following the election of the new council members and supervisors at the 7th Member Representative Assembly of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, the first meeting of the 7th Council was convened. The assembly adhered to the provisions of the Association's constitution and followed the established election process, using a secret ballot to elect the Executive Council of the 7th Council, with all 89 candidates for executive member positions being elected. Based on this, Luo Qianyi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd., was elected President of the 7th Council, and Jian Jingwen, Bai Wenbo, Huang Yuming, and 32 other colleagues were elected as Vice Presidents, with Bai Wenbo also serving as Secretary-General of the Association.
