On Monday's New York close, spot gold rose by 0.91% to $4416.25 per ounce, mostly in an upward trend, trading between $4367.32 and $4428.88, and stabilizing around the $4400 mark in recent daysthe 100-day moving average has also been hovering around this level recently. Spot silver increased by 1.72% to $65.7945 per ounce, having crossed above the 50-day moving average on August 7. COMEX copper futures fell by 0.11% to $6.7070 per pound, having reached $6.8420 at the Asia-Pacific close, stabilizing near the August 6 peak of $6.96.
