Chinese scientists have made new progress in the development of high-efficiency triple-junction solar cells.

Triple-junction solar cells are widely used in aerospace fields such as satellites and space probes. Finding ways to use low-cost materials to promote their large-scale application on the ground is an important research direction in the current photovoltaic field. Recently, Chinese scientists have made new progress in high-efficiency triple-junction solar cells, achieving a certified stable state photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 32.22%. The related research results were published in the journal "Nature" on August 17.
