Microsoft associates "Project Odyssey" bonds to attract a large number of buyers with junk bond yields.
The enterprise bond issuance, codenamed "Odyssey Plan," is expected to increase to $3.9 billion. This data center financing bond, related to Microsoft, offers yields close to junk bonds, with market subscription demand exceeding twice the issuance target. Sources reveal that the bond is issued by a subsidiary of QTS Realty Trust, which is partially owned by Blackstone Group, and is intended to fund a project in Georgia. Insiders state that after several days of roadshows, market demand has surpassed $8 billion, creating conditions for an increase of about $1 billion in the size of the bond issuance.
