Major European stock indices closed lower.

The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell by 0.12%, the EURO STOXX Index rose by 0.03%, and the Eurozone blue-chip index decreased by 0.02%. The UK's FTSE 100 Index dropped by 0.2%, Germany's DAX Index fell by 0.27%, France's CAC 40 Index declined by 0.59%, and Spain's IBEX Index decreased by 0.71%.
