Zhuochuang Information stated that in the first half of August, the chick market was in the peak season for seasonal replenishment. Although the volume of chicks increased, prices rose due to boosted demand, along with a rise in the price of live chickens driving this increase, resulting in chick prices unexpectedly reaching a new high for the year. In the second half of the month, the output from hatcheries continued to rise, strengthening the bearish effect on supply. Coupled with the seasonal peak replenishment coming to an end and demand in the chick market turning weak, hatcheries plan to slow down their output, which may lead to a decline in chick prices.
