Wildfires continue to spread in southeastern Belgium, with an area of approximately 3,000 hectares burned.

On the 16th, a wildfire in a nature reserve in southeastern Belgium continued to spread. The area burned has reached approximately 3,000 hectares, and hundreds of residents in several nearby villages have been asked to evacuate. Data shows that this fire is the largest wildfire on record in Belgium. According to local fire departments, some of the flames have been brought under control, but the firefighters are still facing significant pressure. Currently, more than 250 firefighters and emergency personnel, along with about 50 vehicles, have joined the firefighting and rescue efforts.
