On Friday in New York's late trading session, the yield on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury bond rose by 5.14 basis points, reaching 4.690%. It quickly accelerated upward from a daily low of 4.628% when the U.S. retail sales data for July was released at 20:30 Beijing time. The yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury bond increased by 2.88 basis points, standing at 4.169%, with a cumulative decline of 2.40 basis points this week. The yield on the 20-year U.S. Treasury bond rose by 5.22 basis points, with a cumulative increase of 5.10 basis points this week, reaching 5.257%; the yield on the 30-year U.S. Treasury bond increased by a total of 5.96 basis points, now at 5.259%.
