Today, the National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Commission and the Ministry of Emergency Management launched a national level four disaster relief emergency response in light of the severe disaster impact from the residual circulation of Typhoon No. 13 "Baidi" and heavy rainfall in Henan Province. The National Development and Reform Commission has urgently allocated 30 million yuan from the central budget to support Henan Province in its post-disaster emergency recovery efforts for rainstorm and flood disasters. This funding will focus on the emergency recovery and construction of damaged infrastructure in disaster-stricken areas, including roads, water conservancy facilities, and public service facilities such as schools and hospitals, to expedite the restoration of normal production and living order.
