On the 13th, a reporter from Kunming Customs learned that in the first seven months of this year, the import and export value through the China-Laos Railway reached 20.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.9%. According to Kunming Customs statistics, in the first seven months of this year, imports of tropical fruits from ASEAN through the China-Laos Railway amounted to 4.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%, while exports of "new three types" such as new energy vehicles and photovoltaic products reached 2.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 306.2%. Cross-border e-commerce B2B export value increased by 1.5 times year-on-year. Among these, imports of durian totaled 158,000 tons, an increase of 25.6% year-on-year. Relying on the China-Laos Railway, this "golden passage" is accelerating the formation of a two-way trade pattern of "Chinese manufacturing going south and Southeast Asian specialties going north."
