The Office of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management have allocated central drought relief materials to the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to support the work of drought prevention and disaster reduction.

At the request of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Disaster Prevention, Mitigation, and Relief Committee, on August 13, the National Disaster Reduction Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, allocated 110 drought-resistant pumps, 60 generators, and 10 drilling machines, along with other central drought relief supplies, to support the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in their drought mitigation efforts.
