According to data released by the Passenger Car Association, from August 1 to 9, the national retail sales of passenger cars reached 317,000 units, a decrease of 22% compared to the same period last year and a decrease of 3% compared to the previous month. Cumulatively, retail sales since the beginning of this year have totaled 10.49 million units, a year-on-year decline of 20%. From August 1 to 9, the national wholesale sales of passenger cars reached 276,000 units, a decrease of 24% compared to the same period last year and an increase of 2% compared to the previous month. Cumulatively, wholesale sales since the beginning of this year have totaled 15.086 million units, a year-on-year decline of 5%.
