Since the beginning of this year, the quality of the ecological environment in our country has continued to improve.

On August 13, at the State Council Information Office's press conference on the theme series "Start of the 14th Five-Year Plan," Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu stated that this year, the ecological environment quality in our country has continued to improve, with significant enhancements in key indicators. From January to July, the concentration of fine particulate matter decreased by 1.8 micrograms per cubic meter year-on-year, representing a drop of 6.2%; the proportion of days with good air quality increased by 3.9 percentage points year-on-year. The proportion of surface water classified as Grade I to III reached 86.5%, an increase of 2.4 percentage points compared to the previous year.
