China National Chemical Engineering Donghua Company has signed a general contracting contract for the demonstration project of an annual output of 50,000 tons of polyolefin elastomers at Xibu New Materials.

According to Donghua Technology news, on August 5, China Chemical Engineering Donghua Company and China Chemical Engineering Western New Materials held a signing ceremony and groundbreaking meeting for the general contract of the annual production of 50,000 tons of polyolefin elastomer industry demonstration project. The project uses the high-temperature solution polymerization production process and metallocene catalyst independently developed by the Institute of Scientific Research and Donghua Company, capable of producing two main product systems: ethylene-butene copolymer POE and ethylene-octene copolymer POE.
