Zhuhai International (02362.HK) announced that the group expects to achieve a consolidated shareholder profit of approximately $30 million to $50 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to a consolidated shareholder profit of $5.5 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025. This significant increase is primarily driven by the rise in revenue from copper products, which is attributed to the increase in market copper prices and the production ramp-up at the Musonoi mine (the companys third operating mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo) since its commencement of operations in November 2025, as well as the overall increase in sales volume. The increase in revenue has led to a substantial rise in gross profit; however, after the commencement of production at the Musonoi mine, depreciation and interest costs have increased due to the cessation of capitalization, which partially offset the rise in gross profit.
