According to meteorological department forecasts, due to the combined influence of Typhoon "White Dolphin" and a westerly trough, heavy rain or heavy downpours are expected in some areas of Beijing over the next three days, with localized extreme rainfalls. After consultation with the Ministry of Natural Resources, the risk of geological disasters in certain areas of southwestern and northeastern Beijing has been assessed as high. In accordance with the "National Emergency Plan for Geological Disasters" and relevant regulations, the Ministry of Emergency Management has initiated a Level Four emergency response for geological disasters in Beijing on August 11.
