Nigeria has reported 1,000 confirmed cases of Lassa fever this year.

A report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on the 10th shows that as of July 26, Nigeria has reported a total of 1,000 confirmed cases of Lassa fever this year; among them, 237 people have died, resulting in a case fatality rate of 23.7%, which is an increase of 4.9% compared to the same period last year.
