Saudi Aramco's oil refinery has been attacked by Houthi forces, and the organization indicates that production may be halted until the end of this month.

IIR Energy, a monitoring agency for the energy industry, reported on August 10 local time that Saudi Aramco's Jizan refinery, with a daily processing capacity of 400,000 barrels, may remain offline for the entire month of August. The Houthi armed group in Yemen stated on August 9 that they had carried out an attack using a drone on the Saudi Aramco refinery located in Jizan, Saudi Arabia, and "successfully hit the target." IIR Energy noted that the attack did not impact the refining process equipment.
