As of the end of the New York foreign exchange market, 1 euro was exchanged for 1.1542 U.S. dollars, down from 1.1564 U.S. dollars on the previous trading day; 1 British pound was exchanged for 1.3509 U.S. dollars, up from 1.3499 U.S. dollars the day before. 1 U.S. dollar exchanged for 159.24 Japanese yen, up from 157.55 yen on the previous trading day; 1 U.S. dollar was traded at 0.8101 Swiss franc, higher than 0.8076 Swiss franc the day prior; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 1.3942 Canadian dollars, up from 1.3937 Canadian dollars on the previous trading day; and 1 U.S. dollar was valued at 9.5016 Swedish kronor, higher than 9.4701 kronor the day before.
