On August 10, the Ethereum treasury company Sharplink (Nasdaq: SBET) announced its financial and operational data for the second quarter and the first half of the year ending June 30, 2026. The company's Q2 revenue reached $11.5 million, showing significant year-on-year growth from $700,000 in the same period last year, primarily driven by the active ETH treasury management strategy launched in 2025. The financial report showed that Sharplink incurred a net loss of $394.3 million in Q2, compared to a loss of $103.4 million in the same period last year. This includes a non-cash unrealized loss of $321 million and a $76.1 million impairment on LsETH/weETH. The company stated that the aforementioned losses mainly stemmed from changes in accounting valuation and did not affect the actual ETH holdings. As of June 30, Sharplink held approximately 887,000 ETH, with the crypto assets valued at about $1.4 billion according to U.S. GAAP. By August 3, the company's ETH holdings further increased to approximately 889,000 ETH. During the same period, the company's cash and cash equivalents amounted to $56.2 million, up from $28.5 million at the end of 2025. Recently, Sharplink completed a $75 million registered direct offering and purchased approximately 10,000 ETH at about $1,611/ETH; simultaneously, the company repurchased about 2.1 million shares of common stock at an average price of about $4.70, costing approximately $10 million. Since August 2025, the company has repurchased a total of about 4.07 million shares, amounting to approximately $41.7 million. Additionally, Sharplink has been included in the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indices and has partnered with Galaxy to launch the Galaxy Sharplink Onchain Yield Fund, planning to invest $125 million, of which Sharplink has committed $100 million.
