According to foreign media reports, a Ukrainian drone strike on the Russian petrochemical hub of Dzerzhinsk has resulted in 13 fatalities, including one child, and nearly 40 injuries. Ukraine has intensified its attacks on Russia's oil industry this month, having briefly quieted down in the latter half of July, during which time refineries were able to conduct repairs and increase the national fuel supply to alleviate widespread shortages. However, just last week, Kyiv launched attacks on five Russian refineries, creating new pressure on domestic gasoline and diesel supplies.
