A reporter from China Southern Airlines' Shanghai branch learned that at 12:30 PM today, flight CZ6998 from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport successfully took off, marking the official start of the gradual recovery mode for China Southern Airlines flights in the Shanghai area affected by the typhoon. So far, multiple flights including CZ3554, CZ3966, CZ313, and CZ6077 have successfully taken off one after another, and more flights are being scheduled for takeoff and landing as planned. According to the latest assessment by the meteorological department, it is expected that the impact of wind and rain brought by the tail of the typhoon will largely improve by 4:00 PM today, and flights at Shanghai's two major airports are expected to return to normal operations. China Southern Airlines Shanghai branch reported that today, the airline plans to operate 68 inbound and outbound flights in the Shanghai area, including 24 flights from Hongqiao and 44 from Pudong, with 39 flights previously canceled due to the typhoon.
