China's large scientific facility discovers a new state of matter.
Recently, two major scientific devices in China announced significant breakthroughs: our country's first major scientific device, the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider, confirmed the existence of a new state of matter known as gel balls; the Guangdong Huizhou Heavy Ion Accelerator successfully produced and identified the rare atomic nucleus Hafnium-153. In China, a complete development system for major scientific research infrastructures has been established, encompassing project initiation, construction, iterative upgrades, and long-term stable operations and maintenance. So far, there are over 70 national major scientific research infrastructures under construction or in operation in our country.
