Wu Gang, former member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has been expelled from the Party for serious disciplinary violations and illegal activities.

Upon investigation, Wu Gang has lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, ignored the spirit of the central eight regulations, and violated the bottom line of integrity. He accepted gifts and cash from management and service targets, borrowed vehicles and money from these targets; he lacked organization principles and failed to report personal matters as required; he was irresponsible at work and negligent in management, inadequately supervising and promoting the implementation of superior decision-making, which led to serious delays in project construction, and intervened in the bidding process of engineering projects; he trampled over party discipline and national laws, distorting public power into a tool for personal gain, exploiting the convenience of his position and authority to seek benefits for others in project contracting, fund settlement, and other matters, while illegally accepting property.
