At 18:00 on August 8, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange alert for typhoons and an orange alert for heavy rainfall. The Ministry of Transport maintained a level two emergency response for typhoon defenses and activated a level two emergency response for heavy rainfall.
