The Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government held a video scheduling meeting for the province's defense and response to Typhoon No. 13 "Bai Haitun."
According to the Zhejiang Daily, the defense against Typhoon No. 13 "Bai Hai Tun" in Zhejiang Province has reached a critical stage. On the morning of the 8th, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government held a video conference to coordinate and respond to the defense against Typhoon No. 13 "Bai Hai Tun" across the province. Provincial Party Secretary Wang Hao affirmed the effectiveness of the provincial defense response work in the previous stage. He emphasized that compared to Typhoon "Bawei," "Bai Hai Tun" may have greater intensity, last longer, and have a larger impact. It is essential to remain highly alert and respond promptly, making flood prevention and typhoon defense the current top priority, always upholding the principle of putting people first and prioritizing life. We must adopt a mindset of preparing for the worst, achieving maximum defense, and taking full precautions, based on the extreme scenarios of the typhoon making landfall directly, affecting the entire province, having a prolonged impact, and the convergence of wind, rain, and tide. We must resolutely overcome complacency and a sense of invulnerability, pushing all tasks forward and ensuring we adhere to the "three bottom lines," with the goal of achieving "no fatalities, fewer injuries, and minimal losses," and firmly winning this tough battle against Typhoon "Bai Hai Tun."
