Ministry of Water Resources: 13 rivers nationwide are still exceeding alert levels.

This morning, the Ministry of Water Resources held a meeting to analyze and assess the national flood prevention situation. Over the next three days, the Qiantang River, Yongjiang River, Jiaojiang River, and Shuiyang River may experience numbered floods. As of 9 a.m. on August 8, 13 rivers in Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Yunnan, and other regions are still above the warning level. From August 8 to 10, due to rainfall, the Qiantang River, Yongjiang River, Jiaojiang River, and Shuiyang River may experience numbered floods, and some small and medium rivers within the heavy rainfall area may exceed warning levels. Affected by upstream water flow, the main stream of the Heilong River in the Fuyuan section will exceed the warning level, and the main stream of the Songhua River along with the tributaries, including the Hulan River, and the main stream of the Heilong River from Jiamusi to Qindeli section will remain above the warning level.
