Typhoon "White Dolphin," the 13th typhoon of this year, is moving toward the eastern sea area of our country. From August 7 to 12, Typhoon "White Dolphin" will bring a wide range of strong wind and rain to the eastern region of our country, affecting comprehensive transportation including highways, railways, and waterways.
For highways, on the 9th and 10th, sections of the Shen-Hai, Jing-Hu, Chang-Shen, Jing-Tai, Lian-Huo, Hu-Shan, Hu-Yu, Hang-Rui, Hu-Kun, Fu-Yin, Quan-Nan, Xia-Rong, Ji-Guang, and Da-Guang expressways in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi will experience heavy rain or torrential rain. From the 11th to the 12th, sections of the Shen-Hai, Rong-Wu, Jing-Hu, Qing-Yin, Qing-Lan, Chang-Shen, Jing-Ha, Da-Guang, and Quan-Nan expressways in Hubei, Hunan, Shandong, and Hebei are expected to face similar weather conditions. Caution should be taken on the aforementioned sections to guard against slippery roads, water accumulation, low visibility, and potential secondary disasters that could adversely affect transportation.
