Red Alert for Coastal Waves: Huge waves of 4 to 6.5 meters will occur in the coastal waters of Zhejiang.

The National Marine Forecasting Center has issued a red alert for sea waves according to the "Marine Disaster Emergency Response Plan." Due to the impact of this year's No. 13 Typhoon "White Dolphin," it is expected that from the night of August 7 to the night of August 8, the East China Sea will experience extreme waves ranging from 7 to 13 meters in height, with an orange warning level for nearshore waters; the nearshore waters of Zhejiang will encounter huge waves of 4 to 6.5 meters, with a red warning level for that area; the nearshore waters of northern Fujian and Shanghai will see large waves of 3 to 4.5 meters, with an orange warning level; and the nearshore waters of southern Jiangsu and southern Fujian will face medium waves of 2 to 3.4 meters, with a blue warning level. Vessels operating in these waters should prioritize safety, and relevant coastal units should take early measures to prevent and avoid the waves.
