According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the Passenger Car Association, stated that from January to July 2026, automobile exports reached 6.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 54%, significantly surpassing the levels of previous years. In July alone, exports were 1.092 million units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 57% and a slight month-on-month increase of 2%, showcasing remarkable growth momentum. The total value of automobile exports from January to July 2026 was $110.8 billion, reflecting a significant year-on-year increase of 55%, with growth strength returning to high levels. In July, the export value of complete vehicles was $19 billion, a year-on-year increase of 60%, with a month-on-month growth of 4%, breaking the pattern of being slightly below May from July 2023 to 2025.
