The publication volume of Japan's famous manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Jump" has dropped below 1 million copies for the first time.

According to data from the Japan Magazine Publishers Association, the average circulation of the boys' manga magazine "Weekly Shnen Jump" from April to June was 985,000 copies, dropping below 1 million copies for the first time since data tracking began in 2008. "Weekly Shnen Jump," which was founded in 1968, had a peak circulation of 6.53 million copies in 1994 when it serialized Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball," setting a record for manga magazines throughout history.
