Beijing Automotive (01958.HK): Mercedes-Benz Leasing has reduced its registered capital by a total of 4 billion RMB.

Zhitong Finance APP reported that Beijing Automotive (01958.HK) announced that on August 7, 2026 (after trading hours), the company, Mercedes-Benz China, and Mercedes-Benz Leasing entered into an agreement to reduce registered capital. According to this agreement, the company and Mercedes-Benz China consented to decrease their respective contributions to Mercedes-Benz Leasing by a total of RMB 4 billion in registered capital. Among this, Mercedes-Benz Leasing will refund RMB 2.6 billion in cash to Mercedes-Benz China, accounting for 65% of the reduced registered capital, and refund RMB 1.4 billion in cash to the company, accounting for 35% of the reduced registered capital, thereby reducing the registered capital of Mercedes-Benz Leasing from approximately RMB 5.0975 billion to RMB 1.0975 billion.
