Typhoon "Bai Dolphin" approaches the coastal areas of East China, multiple departments hold meetings to deploy flood and typhoon prevention work.

On August 6, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management organized a joint consultation with departments such as the China Meteorological Administration, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport to assess the recent strong rainfall and the development trends of Typhoon "Bai Dolphin," as well as to deploy flood prevention and typhoon response work in key areas. The National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has activated a Level 4 emergency response for flood prevention and typhoon control in Zhejiang and Fujian, while continuing to maintain a Level 4 emergency response for flood prevention in Heilongjiang and Shaanxi. A work team from the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management is assisting in guiding flood rescue efforts in Heilongjiang. The consultation pointed out that recent strong rainfall is still occurring in localized areas of Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Hainan, and some river sections of major rivers like the Heilong and Songhua Rivers will remain above warning levels for an extended period. Typhoon "Bai Dolphin" is continuing to approach the coastal areas of East China, making the flood prevention and typhoon situation severe and complex.
