The three major A-share indices showed mixed results today. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.57%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 0.24%, the ChiNext Index declined by 0.55%, the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 increased by 0.31%, and the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index gained 0.45%. The total market trading volume was 25,475 billion yuan, down 132.4 billion yuan from the previous day, with over 2,700 individual stocks rising across the market. In terms of sectors, coal mining and processing, electronic chemicals, agriculture and forestry, components, and precious metals saw the largest gains; meanwhile, education, complete vehicles, securities, cultural media, and film theater sectors experienced the largest losses. On the trading floor, the coal mining and processing sector rose further in the afternoon, with nearly 10 stocks, including Pingmei Gas, Huaibei Mining, and Jinkong Coal, hitting the daily limit. Shanmei International, Shaanxi Black Cat, and China Coal Energy were among the top gainers. The electronic chemicals sector remained strong throughout the day, with Zhongjuxin hitting the 20% daily limit, and Tiantong Co. and Jianghua Micro hitting the limit as well, with China Shipbuilding Gas, Guanggang Gas, and Huate Gas also seeing significant increases. The agriculture and forestry sector rose in the afternoon, with Qiule Seed reaching over a 20% increase at one point, leading gains were Shennong Seed, Kangnong Seed, and Dunhuang Seed. The education sector performed poorly, with Chuan Zhijiao, Zhonggong Education, and Kaiven Education leading the downturn in this field. The complete vehicles sector also showed weakness, with Beiqi Blue Valley, Jianghuai Automobile, Zotye Auto, and Seres seeing the largest declines.
