Social platform X: Turkish court orders the ban of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem mamolu's campaign account.

On Tuesday, social media platform X stated that it is complying with a Turkish court order to block the presidential campaign account of the imprisoned Istanbul mayor Ekrem mamolu within Turkey, but is contesting the order in court. A copy of the ruling released by platform X shows that an Istanbul court ordered the platform to restrict access to mamolu's account, which has approximately 225,700 followers, in order to protect national security and public order. Platform X stated that it must implement the restriction measures under Turkish law but disagrees with the order and has initiated legal proceedings.
