Haitai Biological: The investee company ZM-02 ocular injection has received approval for clinical drug trials.

Haitai Biological announced that its affiliated company, Zhongmu Medical, has recently received the "Notice of Approval for Drug Clinical Trials" issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The application for clinical trials of its independently developed ZM-02 ophthalmic injection has been approved, allowing the commencement of clinical trials for the treatment of advanced retinal pigment dystrophy. This drug is classified as a Class 1 therapeutic biological product, with the application acceptance number CXSL2600526, accepted on May 14, 2026. ZM-02 is a new generation optogenetics gene therapy, which received orphan drug designation from the U.S. FDA in October 2024.
