Apple's annual sales in the Indian market exceeded $10 billion for the first time in the last fiscal year, highlighting the surge in demand for its high-priced electronic products locally as the company continues to expand its retail channels in India. Insider sources revealed that Apple's revenue in India achieved double-digit growth in the 12 months leading up to March of this year, with sales in the previous year being around $9 billion. The insider noted that the iPhone accounts for the vast majority of sales, while market demand for the iPad and MacBook has also risen. This previously undisclosed data is a significant boost for Apple's efforts to explore new growth markets. Although the Indian market still represents a small share of Apple's global business, this South Asian nation is gradually becoming one of Apple's most important sales regions outside the United States and China.
