On August 3: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" decreased by 0.29 points compared to last Friday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" on August 3 was 113.32, a decrease of 0.29 points compared to last Friday, while the wholesale price index for "basket of goods" products was 113.42, down 0.35 points from last Friday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in the national agricultural products market was 15.70 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.8% from last Friday; beef was 66.93 yuan/kg, down 0.3%; lamb was 64.53 yuan/kg, down 0.6%; eggs were 9.84 yuan/kg, down 0.9%; and dressed chicken was 17.26 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from last Friday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.40 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 6.99 yuan/kg, up 3.4% from last Friday. The price of crucian carp was 20.31 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from last Friday; carp was 14.24 yuan/kg, down 0.2%; white catfish was 10.33 yuan/kg, up 2.4%; and large ribbon fish was 42.27 yuan/kg, up 6.1%. Today, among the 46 key monitored varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market, the top five price increases compared to last Friday were giant peak grapes, large ribbon fish, pineapples, flower catfish, and spinach, with increases of 6.7%, 6.1%, 5.1%, 2.8%, and 2.7%, respectively; the top five price decreases were cauliflower, watermelon, green onions, cucumbers, and zucchini, with decreases of 3.0%, 2.8%, 2.7%, 2.6%, and 2.4%, respectively.
