New Stock News | It is reported that SHEIN is expected to IPO in Hong Kong as early as mid-month, with a valuation reduced to a maximum of HKD 312 billion.
According to reports obtained by Zhitong Finance APP, fast fashion e-commerce giant SHEIN plans to conduct its initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong as early as mid-August, with a valuation target between $30 billion and $40 billion (approximately HK$234 billion to HK$312 billion). Citing three informed sources, it was reported that SHEIN began pre-roadshow meetings with investors last week. Two of these sources indicated that the transaction might officially launch in mid to late this month. The relevant valuation target and timeline have not yet been finalized and will be adjusted based on investor feedback. This valuation is significantly lower than SHEIN's past levels. The company's valuation reached as high as $98.2 billion in 2022, and during private financing rounds in 2023 and April 2024, it was also valued at $64 billion. The substantial reduction in valuation reflects the challenges the company is facing in its business.
