The Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Department of Commerce stated that the National AI Center is expanding its business scope from AI exports to assisting various institutions in evaluating and deploying commercial AI technologies. According to reports, one of the significant reasons for the center's location in San Francisco is to facilitate close collaboration between the U.S. Department of Commerce and leading local AI companies, and to work together to export American AI.
