Due to the impact of rainfall, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has activated a blue response for widespread flight delays.
According to information from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, based on the airport's weather forecast, thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rain are expected in the entire airport area on the afternoon of August 1. As of 15:35, there are 42 passenger flights that have not departed and are delayed by over an hour, prompting the airport to initiate a blue response to manage widespread flight delays.
