On August 1st, Beijing time, Infantino issued a statement late at night announcing the termination of the FFE program for the World Cup. The Mexican Football Federation subsequently released an announcement. Today, the Mexican Football Federation reported that FIFA has notified all member associations that it has retracted the FFE project, and therefore, this matter is now concluded for the Mexican Football Federation. We are pleased to see that the unity of continental federations and member associations has been prioritized in order to uphold the interests of the sport of football.
