Hormuz Strait shipping stagnation, Qatar Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas exports slowing down.

Ship tracking data shows that the passage of LNG transport ships through the Strait of Hormuz has been affected, and the export volume of the Qatar Ras Laffan LNG plant has started to decrease after reaching a peak earlier this month. Data shows that on Thursday, the ten-day moving average of LNG exports from the plant was about 36,600 tons, the lowest level since June 23. Ship data shows that there is currently a ship docked at the Ras Laffan port, indicating that exports have not been completely interrupted. Note: Qatar is currently operating the Ras Laffan plant at reduced capacity, and can quickly increase production once shipping through the Strait of Hormuz resumes; some LNG has been loaded onto ships early to relieve tank storage pressure. There are currently 13 empty LNG transport ships waiting in the Ras Laffan port area.
