The first domestically developed quantitative hyperspectral smart computing satellite has successfully entered orbit.

At 10:54 on July 22, 2026, the first domestically produced quantitative hyperspectral artificial intelligence satellite, "Xiguang 2-01," developed entirely by Xi'an Aerospace Technology Group Co., Ltd., was successfully launched into orbit in the East China Sea by the Gravity-1 remote sensing carrier rocket. This satellite was custom-developed by Xi'an Aerospace Technology Group for the Yunnan Geological and Mineral Exploration and Development Bureau, and is the first satellite in the "Colorful Cloud Constellation" series of high hyperspectral satellites for Yunnan Province. It is also the first AI computing power satellite that combines breakthrough hyperspectral quantitative remote sensing technology and real-time intelligent processing in orbit, marking the beginning of strategic cooperation between Xi'an Aerospace Technology Group and Zhejiang Laboratory.
