On July 22, Zhang Baofeng, deputy director of the General Administration of Customs, stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, efforts will be made to embed regulatory compliance into the logistics chain, industrial chain, and seamless customs clearance processes, helping to connect related information for maritime, inland river, and railway transportation, effectively assisting enterprises in reducing costs and increasing efficiency. For example, the operational time for converting containers between ports and railways has been reduced to less than half an hour, resulting in a 20% decrease in comprehensive transportation costs compared to before.
