Copper prices fall; investors weigh macroeconomic concerns against supply tightness.
During the Asian trading session, the price of copper fell, with the three-month futures contract on the London Metal Exchange dropping by 0.3% to $13,840.00 per ton. Analysts from ANZ Bank Research noted that investors are digesting macroeconomic concerns arising from the conflict in the Middle East and its impact on supply. Analysts at Nanhua Futures also pointed out that prices are facing pressure due to weak seasonal demand from end-users.
